After her boyfriend left her high and dry carrying his child—to marry the other woman—nothing hurt more than her own father turning his back. Now guarded, Myah Blake put herself on a permanent man-hiatus. Protecting her heart, and that of her two-year-old son, comes first.
One thing Keir Treasure doesn't understand is why he alone survived a fatal car crash. The resulting fear of large vehicles, and the constant headaches his doctor insists aren't there, leave him wondering if his business of operating an auto garage has finally come to an end.
When two lonely lives cross paths, they question if they can make it work. But Keir’s gentle yet firm ways speak to her jilted heart, and Myah’s touch somehow quietens the turmoil in his head.
Can falling for someone be so simple when past pains throw a wrench into the mix? Only God knows, but that’s the question of what happens with Keir and Myah.
(This is a Christian romance) Made the #1 Bestseller in Contemporary Christian Romance.
KEIR MYAH edition by Rena Manse Religion Spirituality eBooks
Keir and Myah is a well written Christian romance with plenty of depth, heart and love to go around. Myah is a single mother trying to make ends meet and figure out how she ended up a single mother to begin with. She isn't looking for a relationship when she meets the handsome Keir, who helps her when her car breaks down. Keir notices Myah, but he isn't interested in starting anything with anyone either. He has too many personal demons that he has to deal with before he can even think about a relationship. Yet despite their reservations, they can't seem to stay away from each other. Dropping by each others respective departments at work, chance encounters at restaurants all lead these two to lower there guards and open up to one another.I like both Keir and Myah. It is rare to find characters that make good choices and learn from their mistakes. They weren't perfect, but I could both like and respect them. I also loved how Myah explained the ground rules for the physical side of their relationship. She knew what she was risking, but she stuck to her guns. I also thought Keir's reaction to their frank conversation was believable and realistic.
Usually, I'm not a big fan of books with single parents in them. It isn't that I don't like kids. It just seems that authors let the kids run their parent`s household. I didn't have a problem with that here. Myah's son was cutie that didn't work my nerves at all. I liked how she was with him and I liked his interaction with Keir. Other secondary characters include Myah's friend from work and Keir's siblings. They were all used judiciously and helped move the narrative along.
Some people think that Christian romances are boring due to the lack of sex. I found the fact that these two actually loved each other before anything intimate happened to be refreshing. It wasn't a case of loving the sex, then learning to love your partner. It was loving your partner, then the sex. And while they did not have sex in this book, there was plenty of chemistry between these two characters.
I also loved that while their religious beliefs were part of the reason why they were not intimate, religious quotes and sermons were not peppered in every conversation. This isn't a preachy book at all. Keir and Myah were just a sweet couple trying to make things work.
"Keir and Myah" explores the challenges of opening yourself up to a new relationship while staying true to your convictions and beliefs. If you are looking for something a little less explicit than what is flooding the market now, check it out. It was good, clean fun and a pleasure to read.

KEIR MYAH edition by Rena Manse Religion Spirituality eBooks Reviews
Excellent storyline with real and relatable characters and circumstances. Unfortunately the writing style is not a natural flow of words, thoughts or descriptions making it difficult to feel and experience what Keir and Myah do; isn't that the point of reading a good romance? )
I enjoyed reading the story of Keir and Myah. Somethings Myah seem to intent on not believing that Keir was not out to harm her, but I guest when family turn their back on you; it is hard to except others that have a different view point than your immediate family. Whit Myah having to start over alone, I guess you lose faith in the human race. I appreciated the way Keir spoke to Myah about the conditions of her car since it was a vital part of getting about town, as well as a safety factor of transporting her son that she loved. I would recommend this book to read.
This was a truly spiritual romance novel. I loved this book so much I recommended it to my family members, friends, and classmates. This book contains inspiration, intrigue, hope, drama, heartbreak, betrayal, tragically, and heartfelt. There was parts I wanted to cry, laugh, and get angry. I couldn't put this book down. Great book Rena Manse!!!!
This book was well written with flawed but beautiful characters. The characters had personal pain to overcome; the author made the characters and the story believable. You care about the characters which isn't easy so kudos to Ms. Manse. It was a complete book, a finished story line. As a Christian romance it also wasn't preachy which I appreciated. I also appreciated that the author didn't ignore or over emphasize the interracial aspect. Great job; I really enjoyed it. The complex characters reminded me a bit of Pepper Pace novels.
Great story line and plot development overall. The author provides a fresh perspective on interracial relationships interspersed with daily struggles such a union would birth. I would have loved to see more interaction about Keir’s issues as opposed to the few moments of reminiscing and panic attacks he had. I loved the slow build up as opposed to the explosive scenarios that sometimes taint good romance novels leaving nothing to the imagination. However there seemed to be a disconnect in how one scene was integrated into the next; poor punctuation, incorrect use of nouns (regime vs. regimen) and random stoppage of thoughts hindered the storyline flow. Also, the last couple of plots, between Myah confronting her ex and Keir saving the day, was rushed and sort of blindsided me. All in all I gave the book 5 stars because it was refreshing and extolled values that I hold in esteem. I would definitely read from this author again.
This was my first book by this author so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was very pleasantly surprised. Myah got on my nerves a bit with her insecurities, but overall I loved the build-up of a relationship between these two co-workers who met somewhat by chance. Although both flawed, Keir and Myah gravitated towards each other and eventually learned to trust one another - revealing their vulnerabilities along the way. The inter-racial aspect of the relationship was dealt with in a realistic way and although this was somewhat an inspirational novel, the characters weren't "in your face" about it and their faith didn't distract from their humanness. This is not super steamy, but there are some "hot" moments. My only cons 1) I wish the author had thought of a title other than the main characters' names and 2) Amy (super vamp/tramp) and Greg (deadbeat dad/cad) were two characters that were a bit "over dramatic" especially when all of the other characters were so realistic. Don't let this stop you from buying it though. In fact, I'm now going to buy the two other books by this author and you might want to as well.
